Mille Miglia is a legendary car race first held in 1927 as a high-speed endurance competition. Since 1977, it has transformed into a prestigious rally for vintage cars produced before 1957. Enzo Ferrari once called it “the most beautiful race in the world.” Each year, the event follows a breathtaking route across Italy, starting and finishing in Brescia, and attracting collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world.
The race was founded by Giovanni Canestrini, Franco Mazzotti, Renzo Castagneto, and Aymo Maggi.
Today, Mille Miglia is far more than a competition — it is a journey through the spirit of adventure and innovation, featuring over 500 unique cars celebrated as works of art and design. The event lasts five days in early June, following the classic route from Brescia to Rome and back, passing through Italy’s most beautiful cities: Genoa, Desenzano, Massa, Orvieto, Parma, Pavia, and many more. This makes it possible to watch the spectacular procession from almost anywhere in Northern Italy.
Direct participation in Mille Miglia requires owning a car that meets strict historical criteria and paying an entry fee of around €15,000 — with premium participation packages reaching €75,000 or more.
A more accessible way to experience the legend is through a special Mille Miglia tour, offering full immersion in the event’s atmosphere from €2,350 per person. These tours include access to exclusive events, prime viewing points, gourmet experiences, and stays in premium hotels.
