Since 1990, the SMART Meeting has established itself as one of the most significant scientific events in the fields of anesthesiology, intensive care, and emergency medicine. In 2025, the congress gathered 3,294 participants and 230 clinical experts. A total of 76 sessions and 7 educational courses were held. Among the most attended sessions were 'Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Guidelines 2025,' clinical case discussions on complex cases of ARDS with Legionella infection, and type B aortic dissection.

The exhibition area featured 55 leading industry companies, including Stryker, Dräger, Baxter, and Getinge. Interactive formats generated significant interest, such as realistic simulations in the High Fidelity Simulation Center and hands-on workshops at the Sepsis Academy.
