The main goal of the WCOO conference is to provide participants from around the world with the opportunity to share their ideas and experiences in person, as well as establish business and scientific connections for future collaboration. The final program will be communicated to participants after the registration of all presentation topics.

For over 50 years, the MIDO exhibition in Milan has remained a key global event in the eyewear industry, bringing together all market participants — from frame and lens manufacturers to raw material and equipment suppliers.

The Design zone showcases the most avant-garde collections shaping the future of the industry. Technological innovations are presented in the Tech zone. The Start Up zone, where young brands present their concepts, generates particular interest.

In 2025, the exhibition showed impressive results: 42,000 visitors from 168 countries; 1,200 exhibitors, including 140 new participants; 8 specialized zones across 7 pavilions.

The EVER 2026 congress, organized by the European Association for Vision and Ophthalmology Research, will take place in 2026 in Florence, the heart of the Renaissance. This important event will bring together leading experts in ophthalmology and vision sciences, as well as provide young scientists and residents with the opportunity to present their research. The congress will include lectures and scientific sessions. The event program will be published later.
